People Count Production Team

Jon Baime is the Series Producer/Senior Videotape Editor. In this role, he researches, field produces, AVID edits and post produces most of the shows. Prior to joining People Count in 1995, Jon was a Producer for the nationally syndicated children's news show Real News for Kids. The show was produced by TBS Productions and seen on over 190 broadcast television stations in the United States. From 1989 to 1992, Jon was the Associate Producer for CNN's Week in Review. He joined Turner Broadcasting Systems as a Production Assistant for CNN Headline News in 1987. As a freelancer, he has also written and produced segments for ESPN and Speedvision, and has edited for WAGA TV in Atlanta, Georgia. Jon is originally from South Orange, New Jersey and is a 1986 graduate of Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.

Maegan Ahern is the series Producer/Senior Writer. In this role, she researches stories; field produces, and writes the show segments for CNN and TBS, as well as many of the international distribution shows. She comes to People Count with nearly a decade of television news experience at CNN, CNN Headline News and the TBS Superstation. She also worked on CNN Newsmaker in Washington D.C.; CNN's Evans and Novak, the CBS affiliate in Washington, and WDCA TV. Maegan is from Alexandria, Virginia and a 1986 graduate of The Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.

Greg Pope is the series Associate Producer and AVID Editor for People Count. In this role, Greg edits some of the programs and is the show's technical troubleshooter. Greg has worked in Turner Broadcasting System's Environment Division for seven years, on projects ranging from Corporate Environmental Policy to the production of the animated television series, Captain Planet. Greg is a 1992 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Kristine Lohr is the series Associate Writer. In this role, she researches and writes for The People Count International Distribution Project. These versions are expanded from CNN, CNNI and TBS Superstation originals. Kristine is also the liaison to various United Nations agencies, television stations, Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and educational institutions that utilize the People Count series. Kristine has written about people and communities for over ten years. Her desire to tell inspirational stories on a global scale fueled her work in television documentaries. She believes that profiling stories of hope and heroism is an important role of the media. Prior to joining the People Count team in 1995, she traveled abroad and wrote for a wide array of publications. Kristine is a graduate cum laude of the University of Buffalo with a BA in communication and journalism.

Nick Boxer is the Supervising Producer for People Count. He works on story development, writing and production. Former Vice President of Original Programming, Nick joined Turner as Editor and weekend Supervisor for CNN's Headline News in 1983. He has worked with Barbara Pyle since 1984 as Producer, Director, Writer and Editor of numerous award-winning environmental documentaries including co-productions with the BBC and CNN.

Lisa Frank is Director of the Turner Environment Division at Turner Broadcasting System. With 20 years of Public Relations and Marketing experience in Atlanta, she handles external communications for the People Count series. She also works on Corporate environmental initiatives for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta. In June 1999, Lisa initiated and now directs the Turner Clean Air Commuters plan that provides incentives for 6,000 TBS employees in Atlanta to ride rapid transit, carpool and vanpool. This company-wide initiative won the 1999 award for a Large Private Employer from the Partnership for a Smog-Free Georgia. In April 2000, the Turner Clean Air Commuter plan won the first HOV Award from the Georgia Department of Transportation honoring "the company that has done the most to change the behavior of commuters in the Atlanta region," by promoting use of High Occupancy Vehicle lanes and mass transit. She is the former public relations manager at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, the High Museum of Art and the City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs. Since 1991, she has served on the board of the Southface Energy Institute; an NGO dedicated to energy efficiency, especially in residential and commercial buildings.

Adrienne Tison is Executive Assistant to Barbara Pyle, Executive Producer of People Count. In addition to being involved with all of Barbara's many projects, Adrienne handles international shipping of People Count videos to broadcasters around the world. Since 1994, she has held several positions with Turner In-flight Services and most recently was Sales Manager. In this capacity, she was responsible for sales and marketing of CNN programs to international airlines. She has also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Turner Library Services and Turner Entertainment Networks, joining the company in 1992.
